Gainsborough in Bloom is a fantastic event which aims to create a greener and cleaner Gainsborough. Sponsors across the town including Smiffy’s aimto transform seven key sites across Gainsborough into flower-tastic displays.
Whitton’s Gardens has been chosen by Smiffy’s as the ideal site to sponsor and we will be working with Corringham CE Primary School, including Jack (inset) whose design was lucky enough to bechosen for Smiffy’s Jubilee / Olympic themed flower bed.
The planting will take place towards the end of June with sponsors and designers getting involved ready for the grand unveiling on the 6th July. Smiffy’s are also proud to be co-sponsoring with YASIG (Young And Safe In Gainsborough), who work with vulnerable people in Gainsborough, to transform the areas around the town centre.
