We do not operate a ‘sale or return’ policy.
Is there a minimum order value?
Our minimum order value is £100.00 excluding VAT and the minimum order for free carriage is £200 excluding VAT. Back orders can be sent out at minimum order of £50 excluding VAT and add-ons must be £25 excluding VAT.*
Do you sell to the public?
We don’t sell to the public but you can still search for high street and online retailers who stock our vast array of costumes, accessories and wigs in our Where to Buy section.
Can consumers search for their nearest Smiffy’s stockist?
As the UK’s leading party brand, Smiffy’s is synonymous with high quality, great value costumes and accessories. Consumer demand for our products means that our website is inundated with consumer searches for our most popular lines. Smiffy’s consumers naturally want to know where they can buy our products and the Where to Buy feature on our site allows us to point them in the direction of our top stockists. Our amazing selection of products is available for trade customers to view in our very own showroom at our head office in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. Do we have Territory Managers?
We have 9 territory managers covering the UK and the Republic of Ireland and 2 Territory Managers covering the rest of the world. Do Smiffy’s offer a drop-ship service?
2009 saw the launch of our new e-Fulfilment business which aids customers who wish to expand their business but who have limited space or cash restraints. Our e-Fulfilment service allows internet retailers to release cash tied up in stocks and costs incurred in operating their own distribution warehouse service. How can I keep up to date with what’s happening with Smiffy’s?
The ‘Latest News’ section at the bottom of the homepage provides the very latest Smiffys News headlines that you can click to view, including celebrities spotted wearing Smiffys Fancy Dress to new product releases and Licence acquisitions; or, for a full archive of Smiffys News stories, click on the ‘News’ tab at the top of the page.
The ‘Shows and Events’ section on the homepage provides headlines of forthcoming Road Shows, Trade Shows and consumer that you can click to view; or for a full list, you can click on the ‘Shows and Events’ tabs at the top of the page.
How do I ‘log in’?
When you first arrive on the smiffys.com home page, only limited features are available as this can be browsed by consumers and non-Smiffy’s customers. Product availability, prices and other features and tabs will not appear until you log in as a Trade Customer.
1) On your first visit to the site you will need to enter your customer code into the First Time Log In section and click Request Password.
2) You will then receive an email containing a temporary password.

with your temporary password, which you will be prompted to change when you first

How do I order my goods online?
1) Once you have logged in to your Smiffy's account (using your unique username and password), you can order products from this website in a number of ways:
A: Browse products via the Product Categories and Product Themes menus on the left hand side of the screen, adding products to your basket as you go; the product price and availability is displayed on each product detail page.
B: Search directly for the product you require by entering the product name or number in the ‘Product search’ box on the top left of the screen; the product price and availability is displayed on each product detail page.
C: Use the ‘quick order’ feature (via the ‘Admin Console’ on the top navigation bar) to rapidly enter successive product codes and quantities. Simply enter the product code and then press Tab or Enter to move to the quantity field; once you have entered the quantity required, press Tab or Enter again to move to the next order line. There is no limit to the amount of lines you can add. When you have finished, click ‘Complete Order’ and the products order will be added to your basket
D: Finally, submit an order via File Upload facility by simply uploading your order from your computer in csv or txt format by using the browse function below. Your file will need two columns: product code and quantity, with the product code and quantity requiring a double quotation mark around each figure.
2) Once you have added the products to your basket, click the ‘View Basket’ button to amend any product order lines before clicking ‘Continue Checkout’ to commence the checkout process, where you will then have the ability to confirm your Shipping preference, apply a Purchase Order Number (if required) before finally Placing your order.
3) If you do not have a credit account with Smiffy’s, you will be asked to enter your payment details and your payment will be processed though our secure payments system. Credit account customers can order online and pay on their normal monthly account terms. For more information on ways to pay, including Direct Debit please contact one of our customer service advisors and they will be happy to explain the payment options we have available.
4) Your will then be sent a confirmation email and, subject to our normal terms and conditions, your order will be dispatched.
How do I view my previous online orders?
Within the ‘Admin Console’, you can select Your web orders to access copies of your previous online orders.
How do I view Smiffy’s special offers?
You can view Smiffy’s Star Buys and Super Savers under the Special Offers tab. Star Buys are fantastic bargain prices on limited stock lines whilst Super Savers are the very best prices on the market on everyday items. As you browse the site you will also see any Star Buys or Super Savers products as they have the respective icon next to them.
What are Smiffy’s Data Feeds and Web Services?
If you operate a web based business or use a product database to store product information, you will benefit from subscribing to Smiffy’s data feeds or web services. These services allow the transfer of data between our systems and your website (or database) to provide up-to-date stock availability. There are a number of options available depending on your business requirements and level of knowledge and expertise:
Full product datafeed – need description
EF product datafeed – Exclusively for E-Fulfillment use. Not for E-Fullfillment use.
Web services– For developer use to provide full data integration, such as websites and EPOS. Applicable for both E-Fulfillment and non E-Fulfillment use.
Price Lists– need description – Lightweight Data Feeds. Not for E-Fulfillment use.

How do I download Smiffy’s product images?
If you would like to download Smiffy’s product images for use on your website, you can do this by logging into the Media Management Centre which is located under the ‘Admin Console’ tab at the top of the page. You can set up your own user name and password for this when you first log in to the MMC (existing MMC users will be able to use their current log-in details).
Once you have logged in, you will be able to download images in JPEG format directly to your computer by selecting the image you want to download, click ‘download’ and select the image size you require. You can then save the image to the location of your choice.
