Recently crowned the Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards, Camp Bestival has proven itself to be one of the most magical and entertaining festivals for the entire family! From wellness programmes and makers markets, to kids raves and DJ led BBQ feasts there’s plenty to get stuck into over the course of the weekend but obviously, the thing that gets Smiffys most excited is the brilliant fancy dress theme and parade.
As you explore the grounds at Dorset, the Animal Snap theme wants you to twin with your BFF, your mini-me or quite simply bring the entire family as a flamboyance of flamingos - the animal world is your oyster! The key to this theme, is to find the perfect match, or perfect opposites! Another idea is to find creatures that even though are different, go perfectly together... how cute!
It’s an extra special year for Shropshire – the festival organisers have decided against their usual ‘anything goes’ fancy dress rule and instead this year want festival goers to go wild for a Wildlife theme. The legendary fancy dress competition will be held on Saturday 19th August and once again judged by Sara Cox.
