Llamas may look cute and cuddly, but did you know that they are actually super tough animals?! Domesticated by people native to the Andes Mountains, Llamas are used to help them transport large amounts of good across the rough and hostile terrain of the mountains. Moving in packs of sometimes several hundred Llamas, they can be given loads of 50lbs to 75lbs to carry. But don’t worry, if a Llama thinks its load is too heavy, it will lie down on the ground and refuse to move until its load is lightened!!
