By the 90s the Pop Punk music bands had really cemented the popularity of their genre. We saw bands like Green Day, Blink 182 and Jimmy Eat World rise to pop punk royalty and find mainstream success. Kids today may have heard more punk pop than they realise with the popular kids TV show, Phineas and Ferb having a theme song written and sang by Bowling for Soup.
